DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park

DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park is New England’s premiere contemporary art venue, and a wonderful place to picnic, hike, or play with all the cool gadgets in the gift shop. The main galleries are found in a slope above the Park and combine an unusual array of contemporary art that includes photography, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art.  Beautiful and sometimes bizarre, the DeCordova’s galleries exhibit a wide variety of artistic styles and statements. The DeCordova is a great place for kids, too.  The huge outdoor xylophone just begs to be played!  No matter the season, the museum and newly re-landscaped sculpture park is a beautiful setting, both indoors and out.

Hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 11:00 am–5:00 pm.  Sculpture Park is open during daylight hours.  Closed: Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.  All holidays are subject to change without notice.

Directions: Directions from Rt 2: take Route 128/I-95 south to exit 28B, Trapelo Road/Lincoln. Go west on Trapelo Road, drive approximately 3 miles to Lincoln Center, a five-road intersection. Sandy Pond Road is directly ahead. The DeCordova Museum is approximately 1/2 mile ahead on the right.
