Fenway Park

Located in the section of Boston referred to as the Fens, Fenway Park is the official home of the Boston Red Sox, and a popular venue for concerts.  Fenway Park history stretches back to its opening on April 20, 1912, which, unfortunately shared headline news with the sinking of the Titanic, pushing it off the front page.  Fenway Park was the starting place for numerous baseball legends:  Cy Young, Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Bobby Doerr, and Jim Rice, to name a few.

Fenway Park has one of the last hand-operated scoreboards in the Major Leagues in the left-field wall. Green and red lights are used to signal balls, strikes, and outs.
